Obituary of George A. Wentworth

George Wentworth, a longtime resident of El Dorado County in California, passed away at home on February 15, 2022 at the age of 50. George was born to Maggie Crisco and Howard Wentworth on June 18, 1971 in Southern California. George was married on September 25, 1993 to his wife Myra. He loved his Beautiful Daughters Chelsey and Gracie. He enjoyed being involved in their activities while growing up. He was involved in their school activities, sports, and Girl Scouts. He was so proud of the women they have become. It is hard to bring to words what describes the life of such a genuine man. George had many friends and aquaintences. He was giving and generous, and an all around good guy. He loved the Thrill of the Throttle and comradery of his " Boys ". George loved to golf, camp, and go out on the boat. A lover of music and food. Bbq was a passion, but he could bake a cake with the best of us. George loved to work with his hands and feel like he put in a day's work. Even at home, he always had to be doing something. There will never be another just like him. George will never be forgotten and will always be remembered with love and a smile by so many lives that were touched by him. Preceded in death by his Father Howard, Brother Perry, Sister Debbie, Aunt Shirley, and Cousin Lydia. George is survived by his wife Myra, Daughters Chelsey and Gracie, Mother Maggie Crisco of North Carolina, Brother David Smith of Virginia, Sister Lisa Wentworth of North Carolina, Sisters Cathy Foulds, Carol Wentworth, and Crista Wentworth of Southern California, Father in Law Wilson Matlack, Brother in Law Miles Matlack and family, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews. A Celebration of his life is being planned for March and will be open to all. Details will be announced soon.
