Dionne graduated with honors from American River College Funeral Service Program in 2010 and has been a part of our team since 2013. El Dorado County is where she calls home and loves living up on the Georgetown Divide. She is a dedicated and selfless part of our teams who takes pride in providing the best service and care for the families she serves. Outside of work she enjoys Advocating for animals, Archery target shooting, NASCAR and quality time with family and friends.



Scott Layton

Funeral Director FDR-3541

Scott Layton is a Licensed Funeral Director. He graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science in 1990 and has been taking care of families in this community for 35 years. He moved to El Dorado County from Central Oregon in 1984 after falling in love with the area. He has loved helping families over the years and has remained friends with many of them.

Scott believes in giving back to your community however he can and over the years he has volunteered, took the lead on projects, helped with fundraising events, etc.

Scott also keeps busy serving and playing on the worship team at his church, enjoying the outdoors with kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, going to concerts and from time to time can be seen playing with his band or other musicians around the county.

Scott lives with his wife Gina. Together they have 6 children, 8 grandchildren and one cat named “Kitty”!

Josh is often one of the first members of our team families will meet. Josh has over 18 years in the industry and is very kind and always professional and takes pride in his work.
In his free time, you can find him enjoying pro sports and is a dedicated fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals.
